Serena W. Lin believes writing is a political act of connection and currently splits her time between New York City and the Bay Area, CA. She writes fiction, poetry, plays, and essays. Her short stories have appeared in Drunken Boat, cream city review, Hyphen, and Northern New England Review. Serena practiced law for nearly a decade in Los Angeles. She served as a Public Defender and then as a community lawyer focused on environmental justice and community economic development.
