Anne Jennings Paris is a poet, painter, and educator whose work looks at the intersection of popular culture and the natural world. Anne was born in Gainesville, Florida. After stints in CT, CA, and London, Anne now lives in the Portland, Oregon area with her son. Her collection of poetry, Killing George Washington, chronicles the settlement of the American West through the eyes of five little-known historical figures. She is currently working on a collection of poetry that explores the overlap of unique ecological systems and the functioning of the human spiritual landscape.
