Annie Chen recently finished her BA in Earth & Oceanographic Science and Visual Arts at Bowdoin College. In recent years she has been in various places satisfying various curiosities; on a plant crew in Mt. Rainier, studying architecture in Berlin, and working at a self-sufficient design lab in the hillsides of Barcelona. In her work she explores the boundary between the organic and alien, and the plausible and surreal. She is currently interested in forming connections between scientific and artistic inquiry.
