I am a Ph.D. student in Hydrology & Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Arizona and am currently working on modeling flow and transport in karst aquifers, with Dr. Ty Ferré at the University of Arizona and Dr. Nico Goldscheider at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. I am also minoring in Law, with the goal of better understanding how to apply science to policy and decision-making. I am especially interested in the possibilities for communicating science through art and have been involved in several scientific illustration projects in this area. I also teach at the University of Arizona Sky School, leading hands-on field trips to share the beauty & excitement of science with middle and high school students.
