Diane Sandall (Playa alumni, 2012/13) a sense of place anchors her art. From the rain and cool colors of the Pacific Northwest and the arid light of the Great Basin, to the depth of history and myth in Scandinavia, these places feed the storyteller in her. While she practices many tactile arts, knitting, carving, and blacksmithing among them, she returns to drawing and printmaking as a way to connect people and the natural world to timeless narratives. Diane lives in Eugene, Oregon. Find more of her work at www.dianesandall.com.
