Eleanor Goudie-Averill is a regular collaborator and dancer with Tori Lawrence + Co. in dance films and site-specific works. She is a dance artist and educator based in New York City. Since graduating with her MFA in Dance Performance from the University of Iowa, she has served as a professor at Temple University, Bucknell University, Franklin & Marshall College, and the University of Kansas. She currently teaches Ballet at Connecticut College. Ellie has danced professionally Susan Rethorst, Lucinda Childs, Bronwen MacArthur, and Group Motion Multimedia Dance Theater. Her choreography has been shown at Movement Research at Judson Church, the Kimmel Center’s International Festival for the Arts, RAW Material, and the Lawrence Arts Center.
