Erin Oliver is an artist, educator, and nature lover living in Durham, NC, but she originally hails from the Northeast.  Graduating from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art with an Art Education degree, Erin teaches art in North Carolina, where she also exhibits her painting and installation work.  Her work explores the intersection of figure and landscape, their fragile and intertwined relationship.  Erin was awarded a fellowship to attend Vermont Studio Center and the Ella Foundation Pratt Emerging Artist Grant, and is excited to visit Playa for a residency this summer.
