Enjoy PLAYA’s Great Basin Natural History Weekend on May 24-26, 2019, in partnership with High Desert Museum. This is a guided tour of birding, geology, and archeological hotspots in Summer Lake and surroundings, led by renown ornithologist and PLAYA Board Member Dr. Pepper Trail. Enjoy and learn from the guided interpretive stops around Summer Lake Area and other sites as researched by Dr. Trail.
Dr. Trail is well known in Oregon birding circles, having been featured in articles in Audubon, National Geographic, and other birding and adventure journals.
