Jules Ohman (they/she) is a novelist and writing teacher based in Portland, Oregon. Jules has taught for Literary Arts, the Attic Institute, and recently served as the Kittredge Distinguished Visiting Writer at the University of Montana. Their debut novel Body Grammar (Vintage) has been recommended by Autostraddle, Buzzfeed, USA Today, Goodreads, and others. They co-founded the nonprofit Free Verse, which teaches creative writing in juvenile halls. Their writing has been published by Electric Literature, Lit Hub, Buckmxn Journal, Willow Springs, Camas Magazine, and others.
