Karen Kowalski Singer is a novelist, poet, haikuist, photographer and prairie naturalist who lives in Central Illinois.
She is the author of a poetry collection, Field Guide to Hidden Things, which won the Green Fuse Poetic Arts First Chapbook contest in 2012. Her poetry has appeared in numerous small journals and webjournals, and has occasionally been choreographed. She earned her MFA in creative writing/poetry at University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast program.
