Lee Arnold was born in London in 1972 and lives in Brooklyn. In his work he examines systems of natural phenomena using a variety of forms, including photography, animation, collage, drawing and sound. His diverse practice engages with perceptions of time, memory, and representations of landscape through the lens of philosophical and scientific inquiry. Arnold has exhibited at venues including the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Exit Art, and Eyebeam in New York, and SIGGRAPH in Los Angeles, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He is the recipient of fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and DAAD at the Universtät der Kunst in Berlin.
