Learn to image the night sky, hands-on with an expert Astro-photographer in one of the darkest locations in the United States. During the first session you will learn how to set up and use your digital camera and that night you will capture breathtaking Milky Way nightscapes with the instructor. The second session will cover how to process your images in Photoshop. Instruction will be given while you use your own laptop to edit your own images. After seeing your results you’ll have a second nighttime session to expand on what you’ve learned.
This workshop starts Friday evening with a socially distanced, communal dinner and presentation. Lunch will be provided Saturday and Sunday. All other meals are on your own. A workshop syllabus will be shared with participants 3 weeks before workshop start date.
