Rachel Maxi

Rachel Maxi has been making art in Seattle since arriving here in 1990 from Cincinnati, Ohio where she attended Xavier University. Her work has been shown and collected widely publicly and privately throughout the NorthWest and featured in both the Seattle and Tacoma Art Museums. In the last few years she has made a major shift in her art from representational painting to abstract painting and sculpture. In March of 2018, Maxi was selected for a one month residency at Green Olive Arts Center in Tetouan, Morocco, and followed with a solo show at Imogen Gallery, in Oregon that summer.
