Campus Rental Information

Groups, organizations, or individuals working in the arts and/or sciences or in adjacent fields such as journalism, the humanities, environmental policy or advocacy, academics or art and science education, government agencies, outdoors groups, can rent the PLAYA campus. Renters can use the campus for meetings and conferences and for their own revenue-earning event such as workshops and fundraisers.

We are currently scheduling for 2024 and beyond.

Please fill out the interest form below to be considered for the 2024 or 2025 calendar. PLAYA staff will work with you to clearly define the details of your request before a contract is signed.

CAMPUS FACILITIES:

The Renter shall have access to PLAYA’s 75-acre campus with walking trails and pond (with canoe) and to all buildings listed below during the date and times listed in the contract:

  • Cabin #4- one bedroom with queen in bedroom and full-sized pack-away bed for studio room
  • Cabin #5- one bedroom with queen in bedroom and full-sized pack-away bed for studio room
  • Cabin #8- queen bed in open studio cabin
  • Cabin #9- queen bed in open studio cabin
  • Cabin #10- 2 bedroom cabin with queen bed in each and en suite bathrooms off both bedrooms.
  • Cabin Diablo + attached art studio- Loft style cabin with full-sized bed upstairs and double futon in living room (loft is open and not a private space).
  • Cabin Wildcat + attached art studio- Loft style cabin with full-sized bed upstairs and twin daybed in living room (loft is open and not a private space).
  • Cabin Garden House- 2 bedroom cabin with queen bed in each, one shared bathroom
  • The Commons Building (includes patio, kitchen, yoga room, Petrof Baby Grand Piano, projector, screen)
  • Sandhill Art Studio
  • Avocet Art Studio
  • Moonglade Music Studio
  • Outdoor Fire Pit

Maximum capacity (assuming shared beds) is 18. Additional guests can be negotiated but may incur additional fees and must bring their own bedding/sleeping bags

RENTAL FEES – based on a 3-night minimum, $1800/night ($100 per person/18 people), then discounted at 5 nights/12 nights:

$5,400 – 3 nights

$8,500 — 5 nights

$19,200 — 12 nights

*30% deposit due at time of reservation/contract signing.

Limited Food and Beverage Service is available provided by PLAYA staff for additional fees and generally limited to one meal service per day, with no more than 3 services per week.
