Adriana Barrios (she/her) is a queer, multiracial Latina artist who grew up on the coastal borderlands of San Diego, California. Barrios received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a Master of Fine Arts graduate from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Barrios has exhibited her artwork in both solo and group exhibitions internationally in Italy and Mexico, and nationally in Colorado, New Mexico, New York, and Texas. Barrios has received awards for her artwork, including the Women Artists Forward Fund Art Prize and the Nō Studios Artist Grant. Barrios has participated in artist residencies at the Pilchuck Glass School, KALA Art Institute, and Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Barrios holds the position of Vice President at Santa Reparata International School of Art (SRISA), where she works closely with the US Admissions Office and Florence, Italy colleagues, managing relationships with affiliate universities, prospective partners, and students.
