Anita Carraher (she/her) researches through the mediums of written word, visual arts, performance and data visualization. Her topics of interest are self-identity, Chinese-American heritage, and transformative grief. She is currently working on her first collection of poetry that aims at all three. She holds a Bachelors of Science from UC Santa Barbara in Environmental Studies and History, and has a research background in fire ecology and social geography.
