Caryl Ann Casbon, NW Poet and Writer, authored: The Everywhere Oracle: A Guided Journey Through Poetry for an Ensouled World (Wyatt-McKenzie Publishing, 2015), finalist for the National Indie Excellence Awards, and was recognized as one of the top spiritual writers for 2017. She has published widely in journals, and has also written: A User’s Guide to a Hidden Wholeness with Parker Palmer and Sally Hare, The Anamcara Storybook, for the Sacred Art of Living Center, A Geography of Grace, and The Soul of Aging through the Center for Courage & Renewal, and Befriending the Unknown through the Alliance for Living and Dying Well. She works as an interfaith minister and spiritual director.
Jay and Caryl are working together on the project: Side by Side: Couples Aging Together in Spirit, a documentary and book in the making, as well as on their own writing projects.

Jay Casbon is a retired Professor of Education and Counseling from Oregon State University.  He also served as CEO and Provost at Cascades Campus in Bend, Oregon.  Before joining Oregon State University, Jay was Dean of the Graduate School at Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon.
