David Leach is a poet, pianist, and composer currently residing in Boston. He writes poems about birds, the weather, and the interplay of certainty and doubt. He is particularly excited about the intersection of music and language, and his poetry often draws inspiration from musical forms and techniques. In the winter of 2017, he traveled to Nepal and Japan on a Robert Pinsky Global Fellowship. He graduated from Boston University’s MFA program in January of 2018. During his PLAYA residency, he plans to work towards completing his first manuscript of poetry.
