David Poulshock is a Northwest filmmaker whose projects have won over 90 awards, including 9 national Telly Awards in 2015 alone. His work includes TV commercials and corporate films; the best-selling WEE SING series for Universal Home Video; the groundbreaking public television series, MATHEMATICS ILLUMINATED; the feature documentary RAW MATERIALS; and many other projects. His doc-in-progress SPACE about the arts in Portland recently received a Regional Arts & Cultural Council project grant. He is also an accomplished editor in both long and short forms, from commercials and mini-docs to feature-length films. David’s original screenplays have won accolades from the world’s top screenplay competitions. Prior to his film career, he was keyboardist with the legendary Northwest cult band, Upepo, an Oregon Music Hall of Fame honoree. He has served as Chairman of the Willamette Writers Conference, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Northwest Academy and on the board of Oregon Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. David and his production company, Red Door Films, are based in Portland, Oregon.
