Delisa Myles is a teacher, choreographer and performer who has worked in all three areas for the last 30 years. She developed the dance program at Prescott College and was on faculty from 1994-2016. She is currently Artistic Director of Flying Nest Movement Arts in Prescott, Arizona. She also finds artistry and nourishment in gardening and raising chickens with her husband at their Delicious Earth Farm. This is Delisa’s third residency at Playa and she is excited to return to the inspiring colors and vast horizons of The Great Basis to further collaborate with her team of dancers, videographers and photographers.They will be developing their latest work,”Intimacy with Disappearance”, a rumination on women, time and land.
