ECHOES: A Reading with Native Women Writers and Poets

Join us on Zoom for a virtual reading and conversation with members of PLAYA’s Native Women Writers Cohort. Poets CMarie Fuhrman, Ruby Hansen Murray, Deborah Miranda, Kimberly Blaeser, Dawn Pinchon Barron, and Alison Hedge Coke will read from their forthcoming PLAYA-published anthology named Echoes, which focuses on the future as a way to keep hope alive in those to whom we will be ancestors.

The panelists will share their thoughts on Indigenous futurism, historical parallels, and culture as a way of continuance, and will welcome questions from the audience on these topics.
