PLAYA presents the culmination of a year-long immersion: new works by nine artists exploring the urgent issues of wildfire and water in Lake County. Informed by the expertise of local collaborators, the artist’s works offer timely reflections on critical social and environmental issues.

Collaborators: Local century ranchers, Chewaucan Watershed Council, Lake County Watershed Council, Lake County Bureau of Land Management, Fremont-Winema National Forest, OSU Extension Fire Program, Summer Lake Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, and others.

There is no lodging available at PLAYA. Out of towners must secure local accommodations, we recommend: Summer Lake Hot Springs, Paisley Sage Rooms, The Lodge at Summer Lake, or campsites in the National Forest or BLM lands.
