Original Work by Frank Boyden

Gallery

Frank Boyden, a world-class printmaker and sculptor as well as a longtime friend of PLAYA, recently donated fifteen limited-edition prints to support our programs. Of these, we are offering fourteen for sale through our new online gallery. The influence of the high desert can be felt in many of these prints; simply click on their titles for information about dimensions and shipping/handling. More about Frank: his sense of the earth’s constant movement and the texture of the world around us are paramount to his life and art. His work is part of many public and private collections, including the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; the Pushkin Museum, Moscow, Russia; Museo de Arte Costarricense, San José, Costa Rica; the Portland Art Museum, Oregon; and the Tacoma Art Museum, Washington. He and his wife Jane make their home on the Oregon coast, where they founded Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in 1970, a residency program much like PLAYA’s.
