Idaho artist, Lisa Flowers Ross, enjoys hand dyeing fabric and stitching pieces together to create modern, abstract artworks. Nature and daily observation are her main inspirations which often are transformed into simple forms and geometric shapes with an emphasis on line, color and composition.
Flowers Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art (drawing), as well as a degree in Business. She is a juried artist member of these professional groups: Studio Art Quilt Associates, Northwest Designer Craftsmen, and Boise Open Studio Collective Organization. She has been the recipient of several grants from the Idaho Commission on the Arts and the Alexa Rose Foundation. Her artwork has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions nationally and is included in various private, public and corporate collections.
