Pam Hobert grew up in rural New Jersey, rambling through woods and fields 30 miles from New York City. She graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Visual Art. Her MFA is from the University of Arizona. While living in Tucson, she taught there for 8 years. She prints at her home studio and at Crow’s Shadow (CSIA) on the Umatilla Reservation in Pendleton, Oregon. Hobert teaches, most recently at Cascadia College. She lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
