Peter Ames Carlin

Peter Ames Carlin is the author of ‘Bruce,’ the bestselling biography of Bruce Springsteen (Touchstone/Simon & Schuster 2012) and ‘Homeward Bound: The Life of Paul Simon,’ (Henry Holt, 2016) among other books. He has been a senior writer at People in New York City and the television critic for The Oregonian newspaper in Portland and has published articles in The New York Times Magazine, the Los Angeles Times Magazine, American Heritage, Men’s Journal and a whole lot of other places. He lives in Portland with his wife and their three kids.
