PLAYA Experience: IN A LANDSCAPE (June 5-7, 2026)

For the 11th season, IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wild™ tours the American West. Mountain tops, old-growth forests, and sunny meadows replace the traditional concert hall in the series featuring pianist Hunter Noack on a 9-foot Steinway concert grand piano. Stay at PLAYA to immerse in the sights and sounds of this remarkable environment before and after the public June 6th concert.

This PLAYA Experience weekend includes two nights lodging as well as a brunch, wine and cheese event, and PLAYA anthology. A birding walk on the PLAYA campus led by local expert, Marty St. Louis, will introduce you to the local flora and fauna you will immerse in during the concert. During the concert, listen through wireless headphones and wander afield with the music as a soundtrack to your experience in the wild.

This PLAYA Experience is for adults only. Out of town families wishing to participate in the IN A LANDSCAPE concert on June 6 can find lodging accommodations at the Summer Lake Hot Springs, Paisley Sage Rooms, The Lodge at Summer Lake, or in the National Forest or BLM lands. PLAYA Experiences offer you time and space on the PLAYA campus for your own creative, restful, or exploratory pursuits. Experiences are like Self-Directed Residencies, but elevated with a dinner and a field trip, evening presentation, and/or special event.

Cancellation policy: $50 cancellation fee. Six or less days before arrival NO refund; seven-14 days before arrival 50% refund; 15-28 days before 75% refund.
