Ruby Hansen Murray (Cathlamet) is the winner of the 2017 Montana Nonfiction Prize and Oregon Writers Colony Contest in Nonfiction awarded fellowships at Ragdale, Hedgebrook, Jack Straw, and VONA. Her work appears in World Literature Today, CutBank, The Rumpus, Yellow Medicine Review and Indian Country Today. She is a writer and photographer, who received an MFA from The Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe.
