A PLAYA resident in 2012 and 2015, Sarah Rabkin is the author and illustrator of What I Learned at Bug Camp: Essays on Finding a Home in the World (Juniper Lake Press, 2011). Currently working as a writer, editor, oral historian and leader of workshops & retreats, Sarah has also been a high-school biology teacher, science journalist, and university instructor. She lives in California near the shore of Monterey Bay with her husband, poet Charles Atkinson.
