Wayne Bund is a multidisciplinary artist who presents the power of fantasy through live performance, photography, painting, and writing. In my work, fantasy competes with reason for control in both physical forms and mythological spaces. I was raised on a small farm in Boring, Oregon, and currently reside in Portland. I hold an MFA from PNCA, and a MS in Teaching from Pace University. I have exhibited and performed locally and internationally and have received grants from RACC, Oregon Art Commission, and WESTAF. I am currently obsession with feminism, classic 8-bit role playing video games, and Brechtian theater. I work as a kindergarten teacher in East Portland for my day job.
